Word Art
Words conjure up images in our head. We don’t visualize a word necessarily by the letters solely alone by themselves – but rather usually with an image that we associate with the particular word. The challenge of this assignment was to think of a word and somehow visually represent that word using the letters. The letters are actually a part of the art and must be incorporated into the visual image.
Creative thinking and a strong ability to visualize something that maybe is a little more abstract to think about are two key objectives for this assignment. While we usually will always associate an image with a word – we don’t usually imagine the word itself as being a visually interesting item.
