Doodle Art
This title of this assignment kind of speaks for itself. This project is all about doodling!
But the real objective for this assignment is all about understanding contrast and balance. Using only a black ink pen, students must fill an entire page with doodling. No space bigger than an eraser on the end of a pencil may be left black. Students must control the amount of ink being put on the paper so it creates light, medium, and dark values. This makes it easier for the viewer to comprehend the insane amount of detail in front of them.
