2 Point Perspective Cities
This classic assignment - creating a cityscape using 2 point perspective techniques - is a tried and true method of learning how to accurately apply this skill set in art. While this assignment has been done before by many, it is always made new and unique with each 8th grader who must complete this assignment. By adding interesting details the plain old cityscape assignment suddenly turns into something that is personalized and fresh. Whether that entails adding a batman signal in the sky, cornfields grazing the outskirts of the town, or an army helicopter flying above, each 8th grader adds their own individual flair to this assignment making it unique.
