Valentine Hearts
6th graders make these pretty Valentine's Day decorations in February to add some splashes of color to the hallways of ACGC. First a mixture of glue and water is created. Students take small squares of tissue paper and paint the glue mixture over them piece by piece, allowing the colors to bleed together. As the piece dries, the pieces of tissue paper fuse together to create a seamless multicolored heart. This project would not be complete with some glitter added!
