An exercise in precision, measurement, and multiple solutions, the purpose of this assingment is to have students understand that variation of ideas and creativite solutions to problems are important aspects of the Graphic Design field in art. This assignment may look simple but gets rather challenging as the boxes progress. Students are to add three lines and then subtract one in each of the 6 squares. Precise measurement is key as is the repetition of exact placement.
